Worlds Collide

I finally caught up on some DVR viewing tonight and just got around to watching last week's Comedy Central benefit for autism research, "A Night of Too Many Stars."

Chris Rock appeared and promptly announced that since he has an upcoming standup comedy special on another network, he was contractually prohibited from performing any of his own new material.

Instead, he opted for jokes from the oeuvre of the iconoclastic Steven Wright.

And then Wright came out and returned the favor, delivering -- in his signature deadpan monotone -- inspired line readings of some of Rock's most famous material.

Hilarity ensued. Honestly!
